June 27 Fishin’ the Yak – Wednesday!Hit the Yakima river, the canyon stretch from Ringer to Red’s on Wednesday. Beautiful day, even in spite of the tremendous gusts of winds! Everyone caught at least a few fish and all three of us spent time on the oars.
Nice bikini hatch (above)! Fishing was a bit slow and most of the fish were small, but I broke the cherry on my 3wt that I had built last year and Matt caught a fish on his new Echo rod!
